PROJECT OF 1 MILLION TRUECOOP ORGANIC PINEAPPLE TREES & 50 MILLION HERBAL TREES OF GOLDEN ARTICHOKE FLOWERS (RED ARTICHOKE) HAVE BEEN GROWN BY TRUECOOP COOPERATIVE.

Truecoop, a member of the ecosystem with BioValley Vietnam has partnered to launch the project of planting 1 million organic honey pineapple plants and 50 million Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa) herbal plants in Ma Noi Commune, Ninh Son District, Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam.

In today’s context, the demand for clean, green, and sustainable food is increasing. Awareness of the negative impacts of industrial agriculture on the environment and communities is also growing. Therefore, organic agriculture & circular agriculture have become important solutions.
Understanding this trend, the Board of Directors of Truecoop Organic Cooperative and 150 ethnic minority farming households in Ma Noi Commune have launched the TRUECOOP MANOI ORGANIC AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE. We aim to develop sustainable organic agriculture, build a farmer-owned organic agricultural cooperative, and become a leading unit in Vietnam in the next five years.
Truecoop chose Ma Noi, a region with economic difficulties, as the starting point for the project. Our goal is to “improve farmers’ lives, and build a high-quality and biodiversity-rich organic agricultural raw material area”. From Ma Noi, we will expand development to the entire Ninh Thuan Province.
Previously, the income of farmers in Ma Noi relied mainly on organic cashews. Now, with the linked project of planting organic honey pineapples & Roselle, we provide plant & seed support, planting techniques, fertilizers, and 100% product purchase, helping farmers increase their income and sustainably escape poverty. On May 31, 2024, the first 130,000 organic honey pineapple plants were planted on 11 farms of farming households, and on June 24, 2024, we will start planting 10 million Roselle plants for 50 farming households. Choosing pineapples & Roselle that are suitable for the climate & soil conditions is crucial. Applying organic farming methods requires meticulous care, land management knowledge, and water resource management.
With a team of 32 experienced engineers and ICS experts, we continue our mission to produce high-quality green pineapples and bright red Roselle flowers, aiming for export to Europe and America. Truecoop is committed to developing the agricultural economy using circular organic farming methods, contributing to the economic advancement of cooperative members’ families, and local areas, and bringing more benefits to the environment and society.
